HOT HOT HOT!!!

Facial steaming.  Raise your hand if you are too lazy to sit there and steam (raises my hand). I get so bored of just sitting there, and waiting, steaming...when I can just wash my face and get it over with, right??
WRONG!!!
Boy was I brutally reminded that steaming is such a great thing for your skin, and sometimes, it is the best way to cleanse your biggest organ on your body.  Yes your skin is an organ :)

I started working full time and this calls for natural makeup everyday.  I work with a lot of customers so presentation in this company is always being assessed and you really have to look your very best.  That being said, I had to wear makeup almost everyday.  Something I am not used to at all.  I used to wear makeup only when I go out and that was probably once for the week.  Now, it is taking a toll on my skin and I am beginning to break out!!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never ever ever broke out like this before and I know for a fact that it has to do with a few factors...which ALL pertain to working.

1) I wear makeup everyday to work, which clogs my pores and causes buildup on the skin.  No matter how much you wash your face, you really don't get what has seeped into those pores.

2) Having a job and going to school full time, gives me literally no time for myself, so when I am hungry, I have to grab something quick (fast food) and head on my way.  This is not good at all for your skin because most foods that are fast food has lots of preservatives etc in it and can cause bad skin among many other things.

3) Being at work all day and running to and from school, does not allow me to drink the proper amounts of water that I need which is a great benefit for the skin.  If water = life, then its the shit!

4) Lack of proper sleep/rest and stress can also cause bad skin, so my point is, don't work.  LOL just kidding.

The Problem: If you are washing and taking care of your skin, but still breaking out because of wearing makeup and no other reason, then this is for you.  I wash my skin with Clean and Clear Oxygenating Morning Burst Detoxifying Cleanser.  Then, I use an astringent by Neutrogena that is an oil free acne stress control toner. Then I moisturize of course.  Although this DOES help to control it, it does not solve it.
Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Triple-Action Toner, 8 Ounce (Pack of 3)Clean & Clear Morning Burst Detoxifying Facial Cleanser with Oxygen-Infused Formula, 8-Ounce Pump Bottles (Pack of 4)
The Solution: Steam or Sweat.  Yes sweat sounds gross but it is so beneficial and crucial for your skins health.  Sweating gets all impurities and toxins out of our skin that we pick up from the polluted environment and from topical products that we "think" cleanses our skin when it really only clogs our pores more and pushes what is already in our pores deeper.  Sweating pushes out these impurities from our pores and causes us to have more radiant, clean, and youthful looking skin.
When you have no time to hit the gym, bust out your steaming skills.  There are TONS of videos on YouTube showing how to steam at home so check it out.  Steaming is the alternative to sweating and it eliminates most of your clogged pores which in turn gives acne no life!!!!! mo0hahahahha PLUS ITS FREE GUYS!! Wheres the like button?!
You guys have to remember that there are tons of great products out there, but how can you solve something from within by putting something on top and blocking the pores from breathing?  I'm not saying to not use your products, by all means do, but treat yourself once or twice a month to a steam!

WARNING!!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN USING STEAM.  DO NOT BURN YOUR SKIN WITH PIPING HOT WATER.  MAKE SURE AND RESEARCH CAREFULLY BEFORE DOING THIS SO YOU CAN DO IT PROPERLY.

Happy Steaming everyone!!!
